BEIRUT, LEBANON (5:20 P.M.) – In an audio message released on Monday, the so-called “Islamic State” (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) vowed to attack Israel to begin a new phase of attacks.
The terrorist group, which has lost almost all of the territory they once controlled in Syria and Iraq, discussed attacking Israel in the future, while slamming U.S. President Donald Trump’s new peace plan.
ISIS calls on its sympathizers to target the “settlements and markets of the Jews”, urging their followers to carry out different attacks.
The terrorist group has rarely targeted Israel in the past, but it appears that the new Islamic State leader is seeking to shift the organization’s focus amid several battlefield setbacks.
The audio message was recorded by the new Islamic State spokesperson, Abu Hamza Al-Qurayshi, and released on their Furqan channel, which often broadcasts the terrorist actions of the group.
