A military source said ISIS has obtained considerable quantities of weapons it uses against Syrian and Iraqi armies from Iraq’s Kurdistan.
The weapons include MILAN anti-armor missiles, G36 guns, ammunitions and heavily armored military infantry vehicles. According to the source, the government of Kurdistan has bought these weapons from European countries, namely Germany and France, a few months earlier.
The same source was not able to identify the method by which the terror group has obtained these weapons. However, this has most likely been arranged via black market dealers.
