The civilian resistance militias at the village of Ghariba in the Deir Ezzor Governate have successfully cleared the area of all ISIS militants after days of violent firefights. The Syrian Air Force aided the militias with daily airstrikes on ISIS targets, weakening the militants in the village and forcing them to retreat. When the battle broke-out this morning, the Syrian Air Force had destroyed an ISIS HQ inside the village, while also destroying 8 vehicles loaded with doshkas and 23 mm machine gun turrets. Before ISIS could flee the area, the resistance fighters killed 7 militants and wounded 4 others.
