BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:05 A.M.) – For the second time this week, the so-called Islamic State (ISIS) has scored a big advance in the Yarmouk Camp District, seizing several areas from Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham.

According to the terrorist group’s official media wing, their forces began the day by attack HTS’ positions at the Al-Malyoun and Al-Mashrou’ neighborhoods of the Yarmouk Camp.

The Islamic State would ultimately infiltrate HTS’ lines in Al-Malyoun and Al-Mashrou’, forcing the latter to retreat further north in order to avoid being overrun by the terrorist group.

ISIS claimed at least five HTS fighters killed during the battle, including two HTS field commander.

As a result of Friday’s advance, the Islamic State is now on the verge of seizing the entire Yarmouk Camp District.

Once the IS have it the SAA should impose a full blockade and starve the IS and its sympathisers. All others can leave who stays starves.

Why hasn’t there long been a blockade?
The place seems to contain nothing but Daesh and jihadis.
