Aleppo, Syria (10:40 A.M.) – The Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) launched a new assault in the Kuweires Airport area of east Aleppo on Saturday, targeting the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) defenses at the village of Nasrallah.
ISIS began the assault by storming the village of Nasrallah from its northeastern flank; this resulted in a violent battle with the Syrian Arab Army and their allies.
Following a 48 hour long battle with the Syrian Arab Army, the Islamic State terrorists were forced to retreat from Nasrallah’s northeastern perimeter, putting an abrupt end to this offensive in east Aleppo.
