DAMASCUS, SYRIA (9:50 P.M.) – ISIS released a six-minute propaganda video on Sunday, showing urban warfare in the Philippine city of Marawi which has witnessed a three-month long battle that is yet to end.

The footage, published by the Al-Hayat Media Center through its ‘Inside the Khalifah’ series, depicts combat footage with the Philippine Army and calls on foreign fighters, mainly from Australia and neighboring Muslim countries in Southeast Asia to join Islamic State ranks, represented on the battlefield by the jihadist Abu Sayyaf and Maute groups.

Not long ago, the ISIS-linked Amaq Agency released an infographic that suggested 335 Philippine soldiers had been killed in the battle for Marawi thus far.

In comparison, high-ranking members of the Philippine Army claim that some 500 ISIS insurgents have been neutralized, thus reaffirming the intensity of the clashes.

Well, im speechless looking at the video when they destroyed the cross. I do not know where they got their islam from but didnt they know that Rasulullah pbuh did tell us not to destroy places where people worship, the elders, women and children. Also those who didnt bring danger to ourself. We must follow the law of the land. I.e: if u think philipines is not an ideal place for u to worship Allah then migrate to else where. That is what we have been taught. What an idiot. Your act is a disgraced to other muslim. Being a… Read more »

Easy to see these fighters believe in the story of paradise for them, let me ask, if anyone knows, what do the ISIS fighters in Syria say is the reason Allah has turned his back on their Jihad?

you know what? I really think that America has something to do with this!!!!! the Siege Started when Duterte was flying to Russia to improve relations with the Kremlin after Duterte Lambasted the US, and then all of the Sudden an attack by rebels …Hmm pretty strange coincidence don’t you think? I think US has funded the Rebels to send a Signal to the Philippines that if they distance themselves from the US , chaos will ensue and The Philippines will never be Peaceful. The US is Holding a knife at our throats here.I don’t know if this is all… Read more »

Do they know that the tradition in the Philippines, since general Pershing was here is, after a shithadist has been killed, to suspend a pig over the grave and spill pig blood on his carcass before burying him?
Country is 85% Christian… Well, I feel that these shithadists will provoke a serious wave of apostasy in Muslim ranks…

It was a myth. Pershing did say they were buried with a dead pig, but never bloodied with it. The Moros at that time anyway weren’t jihadists, they were fighting so Sulu Sultanate didn’t remain a colony and puppet of foreign powers. Moro rebellions against USA continued even after Pershing and end of American-Moro war.

Jahangeer I think You have it right.
With the ISIS up in Syria, how do they explain ALLAH turning his back on them and allowing the infidels to win ?
I am curious what they say to each other and the world, I imagine they say “Its a test…… blah blah”
Anyone know for sure ???
