Hours after the Turkish-backed Fastaqem Kama Omert and Jabhat Al-Shamiya entered the ISIS border stronghold of Al-Ra’i, Islamic State militants managed to recapture Al-Ra’i along with its grain silos.

Even with the backing of US airstrikes and Turkish artillery and ISIS’s occupation with the SDF in the vicinity of Manbij, north Aleppo rebels continue to fail in making any headway.

The jihadist opposition’s lack of capability in that region is mostly attributed to the absence of the Al Qaeda-affiliated Jabhat Fath Al-Sham (JFS), formerly known as Jabhat Al-Nusra. In fact, most of the rebel gains on any front in Syria is due to the experienced fighters of the internationally-recognized terror group.

Hey! they (former Alnusra Front) arent terrorists! They changed their name man! And according to USA’s logic that puts them on the “moderate” rebels side. Now im just waiting for ISIL to be considered moderate fighters once they change their name to something cooler *sarcasm*
If you have any suggestions to ISIL’s new organization name please send it over their email: [email protected]**America.com

the weak rebels are no longer supported by anyone. once Rojava controls the entire turkish/syrian border, they’ll be expelled.
