DAMASCUS, SYRIA (2:00 A.M.) – A Houthi offensive in central Yemen took a turn for the worse on Monday, at least if one is to believe a series of photos released by Amaq Agency.
The ISIS-tied agency showed jihadist insurgents repelling a Houthi assault at an undisclosed location in the mountainous province of Bayda which still represents the main hotbed of Islamic State influence in the embattled country.
More specifically, the offensive took place in the Laqah Baqifah area. At least five Houthi troops were killed following the assault while their commander was crucified in gruesome fashion.
