The Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham’s (ISIS) media wing has leaked an alleged photo of Jabhat Al-Nusra’s (Syrian Al-Qaeda group) leader, Abu Mohammad Al-Joulani.
The wanted poster contained personal details about Joulani, including his birthplace, nationality, arrest, and educational background.
According to ISIS, Joulani is a Syrian national from the Golan Heights that fought in the Iraq War before being arrested and then released during the Syrian Conflict.

Brief Biography of Al-Joulani:
He was born in Saudi Arabia, raised in Damascus, but his family is from the Golan.
He entered the College of Media, but did not finish. He was arrested three months after entering Iraq and released after the beginning of the ‘Syrian Revolution.’
Jabhat Al-Nusra has not responded to these allegations made by the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham.
