BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:30 A.M.) ISIS launched powerful, but ineffective attacks, on Sunday against the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in attempt to break the siege on Tabqa.
The SDF fighters repelled the attacks in the area south of Tabqa Airport, whilst intense clashes continued in the area to the west of the airport.
The clashes resulted in the death of ISIS leader Ebu Zubeyir who led the offensive against the SDF. Many terrorists under his command were also exterminated.
In the failed attack, the SDF discovered 24 bodies of dead ISIS fighters, as well as a large amount of weaponry and ammunition.
