According to a source from the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) allegedly fired mustard gas agents at the Deir Ezzor Military Airport on Monday afternoon.
These reports have not been confirmed by the High Command of the Syrian Arab Army; however, several pro-government social media pages and activists have corroborated this information from Deir Ezzor.
As of now, no one has been reportedly killed or wounded by this alleged mustard gas attack.
If these reports prove true; this will be the first time that ISIS has used chemical agents against the government forces in Syria.
ISIS has already been accused of using chemical agents against both Kurdish and Iraqi forces prior to this alleged attack in Deir Ezzor today.
