Al-Sumaria News reported on Saturday that ISIS has prevented its members who fled the battle for Tel Afar Airport in Iraq to return to their families.
Al-Sumaria News has said that the detained are being prepared for a mass execution for abandoning the battlefield.
“ISIS detained to prevent the total collapse of its internal structure, after it has said that the battle of Tel Afar airport will be a long one, and that the Popular Mobilization Units won’t be able to liberate it. Everything changed however and the airport was liberated within few hours, despite the large number of car bombs and suicide bombers,” Al-Sumaria explained.
“Dozens of families who are called fair-skinned (Caucasian and Chechen members of ISIS) started to leave Tel Afar, while local members of the group are not allowed to leave the district,” the report continued.
Earlier, it was reported that a Chechen leader and five of his companions were killed in Tel Afar district.
