The Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) have become well-known for the brutal execution videos the usually release some months after they kill their victims.

In both Iraq and Syria, ISIS militants display a level of brutality that is unrivalled by any other terrorist group operating inside these countries; in fact, most of their videos contain a different method of torture and execution.

Most recently, the terrorist group released another propaganda video in Iraq; however, this time, they paraded a group of captured Iraqi soldiers and civilians through an unknown part of the desert to execute them via explosives.

This inhuman treatment of captured soldiers and civilians was filmed by the terrorist group and propagated all over their social media accounts in order to “deliver” a message to their enemies.

In the video, the ISIS terrorists wrapped explosives around a pair of captives before they detonated the bombs, creating a large cloud of blood and human organs.

ISIS has perpetrated a similar heinous act before, but it involved small explosives; this execution involved large explosives meant to leave none of the captives intact.

You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:

  • Name-calling
  • Ad hominem attacks
  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.
