BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:05 A.M.) – The Islamic State (ISIS) continued their onslaught in the northeastern countryside of the Hama Governorate, Wednesday, capturing several towns from the Al-Qaeda linked Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham rebel group.

ISIS began the assault by advancing the towns they recently captured, striking several of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s flanks near the Idlib Governorate axxis.

According to the terrorist group’s official media wing, their forces captured the HTS stronghold of Srooj, along with the towns of Aliya, Abu Maro, Abu Khanadiq, Abyan, Jubb Zreiq, Samiriyah, Judaydah, and Wasitah.

As a result of this advance, the HTS militants are now on the verge of losing their last positions inside the northeastern countryside of the Hama Governorate.

What exactly is going on here? Do the SAA and ISIS have an agreement that the SAA will leave them alone as long as they go on the offensive against HTS?

Or simply that aviation pounding on HTS weakens them, then IS can take over the area which in the end is helpful as it reduces the manpower on each side and IS is more diluted over the terrain they control… In a 3 ways war, your best bet is having your 2 opponents kill each other…
