The Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) has issued a statement via the social media platform “Telegram” that claims they have shot down an Iraqi helicopter near the strategic city of Fallujah in the Al-‘Anbar Governorate.

According to the statement released by ISIS today, the terrorist group reportedly shot down a helicopter that belonged to “Jaysh Al-Rafidhi” (sectarian term used to refer to the Iraqi Army) in ‘Amariyah Fallujah; this has not been confirmed by the Iraqi Armed Forces.

Recently, the Iraqi Army launched a new offensive in the Fallujah-Karma area of the Al-‘Anbar Governorate – fighting is still ongoing.

if a tree grows in the forest the isis would claim the planted it. they claim everything. chances r if a helicopter did come down it was more than likely due to mechanical failure

No. They do not plant trees. Instead, burn them.
