The Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham’s media wing, Al-Amaq, reported on Saturday that their terrorist forces killed 100+ Iraqi soldiers at the residential compound in Amiriyat Fallujah.

Despite Al-Amaq’s allegations; this report was denied by several Iraqi Army sources in the Al-Anbar Governorate.

According to these sources, ISIS launched a surprise attack using VBIEDs (vehicle borne improvised explosive device) in order to infiltrate the Iraqi Army’s defenses at the residential complex and police headquarters.

This assault was eventually repelled by the Iraqi Armed Forces after several ISIS terrorists were killed on Saturday afternoon.
