DAMASCUS, SYRIA (5: 25 P.M.) – Scores of ISIS militants have been killed and injured as a huge explosion rocked one of the group’s ammunition depot in Deir Ezzor amid continuous clashes with the government forces.

Whether the blast was caused by an airstrike or a man-made error is still unknown.

Elsewhere in the embattled city, several ISIS jihadists were killed while attempting to break through the Army’s defensives amid an eye-blinding sandstorm.

Meanwhile, the Syrian and Russian fighter jets continue to pummel ISIS positions and supply routes in Thardah , Huwyjat Saqar, the Panorama and Cemetery areas.

The terror group’s media mouthpiece published a propaganda photos showing jihadists targeting the Syrian troops with mortars, heavy machineguns rocket-propelled grenades.

Nevertheless, the organization failed to achieve any substantial advance on the ground since it launched a major offensive early this week.
