BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:20 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army’s resumed their military operations northeast of the Kuweires Military Airport today, liberating two more villages from the Islamic State (ISIS) forces in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
According to Al-Masdar’s field correspondent, Yusha Yuseef, the Syrian Arab Army liberated the villages of Abu Jabbar and Al-Magharah after a short battle with the Islamic State forces this morning.
Led by the Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army has liberated 5 villages in the last 24 hours, forcing the Islamic State militants to abandon several sites around the northeastern perimeter of the Kuweires Military Airport.
With the pressure mounting on their remaining forces in east Aleppo, the Islamic State has redeployed many of their units from the Kuweires perimeter to the cities of Deir Hafer and Al-Bab in order to absorb these attacks from the Syrian Arab Army and Turkish Armed Forces.
