BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:40 P.M.) – Not long after massacring more than 30 civilians in the eastern countryside of Hama, the Islamic State (ISIL) committed another brutal attack against residents living under the government in Deir Ezzor.

According to local activists in Deir Ezzor, the Islamic State fired several mortar shells at a wedding celebration inside the Harabish District in the southern part of the provincial capital.

At least ten civilians were killed and another twenty wedding attendees were seriously wounded during the Islamic State attack, including several women and children.

So far, four victims have been identified by local authorities:

Amjad Faysal (child)
