BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:55 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) is cruising in the western countryside of Al-Raqqa, liberating several villages and hilltops from the Islamic State (ISIL) terror organization.

Following the liberation of the Rusafah Station, the Syrian Arab Army’s Tiger Forces advanced south of this site towards a group of villages near the Waheb Oil Fields.

According to a military source, the Syrian Arab Army liberated the villages of Saharej Al-Waheb, Jib Al-Afabous, and Hub Mashraf Inbaj after a short battle with the Islamic State on Friday.

With these aforementioned villages liberated, the Syrian Arab Army will turn its attention to the Al-Waheb Oil Fields, where they look to expel the Islamic State from the area.

These are not hard and fast rules, merely guidelines to aid the human judgment of our community and keep this a clean and well-lighted place for civilized public discourse.

Improve the Discussion

Help us make this a great place for discussion by always working to improve the discussion in some way, however small. If you are not sure your post adds to the conversation, think over what you want to say and try again later.

  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.
