BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:25 A.M.) – Hundreds of Iraqis traveled to the Speicher Camp in the Salaheddine Governorate, Saturday, to pay tribute to the 1,700 Iraqi cadets that were brutally massacred by the Islamic State (ISIL) on June 10th, 2014.
The 1,700 cadets were summarily executed by the Islamic State terrorists at the Speicher Camp near Tikrit in 2014; they would later post images from the massacre.
Since the massacre, the Iraqi Armed Forces have recaptured almost all of the territory seized by the Islamic State in the Summer of 2014.
