After the death of the ISIS Wali of Hayy Adan, Iraqi forces have pushed onto liberating the town and Akhaa from the terrorist forces.
On an announcement by Iraqi forces made on state-owned television, the areas of Hayy Adan, al-Akhaa and the water project in Mosul have all been liberated from ISIS elements.
The statement went onto say that security forces backed by Army Aviation and international coalition continue the liberation battle of the city of Mosul from the ISIS grip.
Meanwhile the Popular Mobilization Units are cutting off Mosul from its other last major stronghold in Iraq, Tel Afar. This is to prevent any ISIS escape into Syria.
