BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:50 P.M.) – The Iraqi security forces arrested one of the highest ranking members of the Islamic State (ISIS) this week after he attempted to escape across the border to Syria.

According to a military report, the Islamic State officer was identified as ‘Abdel-Ghani Zargham ‘Abdel-Sama, the terrorist group’s oil chief.

The reported added that ‘Abdel-Sama was traveling through the town of Masada in the northwestern countryside of Nineveh, when the Iraqi security forces ambushed his convoy.

‘Abdel-Sama surrendered immediately after he was surrounded by the Iraqi security forces.

This man must not be turned over to the Americans and I hope the Iraqi security forces involve Syria, Iran and Russia with his interrogation.
