BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:25 A.M.) – The Iraqi Armed Forces began a large-scale military operation along the Syrian border this week as part of their efforts to eliminate last remnants of the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) terrorist group.

Backed by Hashd Al-Sha’abi (Popular Mobilization Units), the Iraqi Armed Forces began the operation by attacking several areas with an Islamic State presence in the Al-Anbar, Nineveh, and Salaheddine governorates.

The Iraqi military is using both their ground and air forces to attack these Islamic State hideouts near the Syrian border.

In the video below, the Iraqi Air Force’s helicopters can be seen hunting down Islamic State terrorists:

  • Ad hominem attacks
  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.
