BAGHDAD, IRAQ (9:30 A.M.) – Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al-‘Abadi announced on Wednesday night that the Iraqi Armed Forces are making their final preparations before launching the long-awaited Mosul offensive in the Nineveh Governorate.

“Battle of Mosul be announced after troop preparations are completed and a humanitarian pathway is established for civilians,” the Iraqi Prime Minister added.

No official date has been set for this Mosul offensive; however, it is expected to be launched before year-end.

Recently, the Iraqi Armed Forces liberated the key towns of Al-Baghdadi and Al-Shirqat from the Islamic State terrorists that controlled them for over two years; this has paved the way for the government forces clear the last terrorist pockets around the Al-Anbar and Salahiddeen governorates.

It has been taking them a while to prepare. Must be because they obey their US masters.
