BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:30 A.M.) – The Iraqi military announced on Wednesday morning that their Air Force had carried out a strategic attack on an Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) command meeting inside southeast Deir Ezzor.
According to the Iraqi military, their F-16 fighter jets bombed the Daesh command meeting that was held in the town of Al-Souseh, killing 44 terrorists in the process.
At least Daesh ringleaders were about to hold an important meeting in one of the bases, when the Iraqi Air Force heavily bombarded them.
The Iraqi military said that their F-16 jets bombed at least two Daesh bases during the overnight bombardment.
This is not the first time that the Iraqi Air Force has bombed Daesh in Syria; they usually carry out these attacks when they have information about a potential terrorist gathering.
