BEIRUT, LEBANON (5:30 A.M.) – Scores of people were seen running for their lives in Erbil’s Tablo Mall as the earthquake rocked the city, Sunday. The earthquake has reportedly killed several people in Iraq and at least 120 across the border in Iran.
The US Geological Survey measured a magnitude of the earthquake of 7.3, stating that the epicentre of the earthquake was near Halabja, southeast of Sulaymaniyah in Iraqi Kurdistan.
The earthquake was felt as far away as Turkey, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates.
