US President Donald Trump had reportedly attempted to contact Iranian President Hassan Rouhani a total of eight times during the latter’s 2017 visit to New York for the UN General Assembly meeting, Iran’s Presidential chief of staff Mahmoud Vaezi claimed in Tehran on Wednesday.

Vaezi made the statement to reporters following a weekly governmental meeting, adding, “this is so different from what is being said,” referring to Trump’s comments earlier this month.

“Iran at some point will call me and ask for a deal, and we’ll make a deal,” Trump had said during a NATO Summit presser on June 15.

=> These calls were not in the last month.
Maybe Rouhanni would better had answered the call : seems to me that it’s not a wrapped tight attitude to overlook any call from any head of state from any major country :
Acting autistic may not be the best thing to do, especially with the Yanks, considering their past records…
