The Islamic Republic of Iran warned on Thursday the Saudi Arabia of continuing the military intervention in Yemen, stating that the results of the aggression will be certainly reflected against the Arab kingdom.

“Saudi Arabia will get the finger burnt in Yemen,”  The Chairman for the Committee for Foreign Policy and National Security of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, said in a statement.

The high-rank Iranian official stressed that the Saudi war on Yemen will have serious results on the region, amid the recent critical situations and developments witnessed by the Muslim World.

Moreover, Boroujerdi underlined that the US administration is trying to create another crisis in the Muslim world, following the crises it orchestrated in Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan.

A coalition of 10 countries, led by the Saudi Arabia, launched late Wednesday a wide military offensive on Yemen, killing 20 civilians, including children.

Al Arabiya News Channel reported on Thursday that Saudi Arabia has deployed “100 fighter jets, 150,000 soldiers and other navy units” for the military campaign against Yemen.
