Iranian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham on Tuesday urged the Islamic states to show a powerful reaction to the Israeli desecration of the Islamic sanctities.

Condemning desecration of Islamic sanctities, by Israel in recent days, she said the act of illegitimate and child killer Zionist regime to divide al-Aqsa Mosque for the worshippers by separation of the holy place in terms of space and timing of the prayers runs counter to international norms.

She urged all governments and Muslim states in particular along with international institutions mainly the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to take immediate reaction to the illegal act of the Zionist regime.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to assist other OIC members to set up an emergency meeting to review and study the Israeli desecration of the Islamic sanctities taking required action,” Afkham said.

“Zionists militant on Monday for the second time attacked the Palestinian prayers and mounted tension in Beit-ol-Moqaddas,” she added.

The latest Israeli aggressions coincide with the Jewish holidays which will be lasted until early October.

Israeli extremists have attacked Al-Aqsa Mosque several times in the past three days.

These are not hard and fast rules, merely guidelines to aid the human judgment of our community and keep this a clean and well-lighted place for civilized public discourse.

Improve the Discussion

Help us make this a great place for discussion by always working to improve the discussion in some way, however small. If you are not sure your post adds to the conversation, think over what you want to say and try again later.
