A senior Iranian official has expressed the importance that terrorists cannot be turned into politicians because of the peace talks being hosted in Kazakhstan’s capital, Astana.

“In [finding] any political solution to [the crisis in] Syria, the yesterday terrorists must not become the today politicians,” Iranian Parliament speaker’s special advisor on international affairs, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, said in a Saturday meeting with Syrian Ambassador to Tehran Adnan Mahmoud.

He did highlight however that the efforts of the peace talks on Syria are a “suitable opportunity” to rid the country of terrorism.

He also emphasized that Iran backs the sovereignty of the war torn country.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran backs territorial integrity and independence of Syria and regards national dialogue and people’s vote as the best political solution to the Syrian crisis,” the Iranian official pointed out.

@Henri Cochet, Iranian leaders, as opposed to their western counterparts, have actually been fighting terrorism. Without Iran and the sacrifice it consented to, ISIS would be ruling in Damascus and Baghdad. Same cannot be said of the openly terrorist-supporting zionist and NATO entities. So take your accusatory inversion and shove it where you know 😉 .

Iran need to stop being so slimy; how many times do Israel keep having to blow up overkill missiles they try to send to Hezbollah? Syria is in ruins and they’re wasting their time with this nonsense.

Nothing to do with Iran’s own genocidal repression against its own Kuridsh population then…
