BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:30 P.M.) – The Iranian forces in Syria activated their air defenses after learning of the U.S. planned attack, the Russian publication Avia.Pro reported on Friday.

According to the Russian publication, the Iranian forces learned of the U.S. planned attack and prepared for their air defense systems for the confrontation.

Prior to this, a source from the Syrian military in Damascus told Al-Masdar that Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) had placed their troops on high alert near the border city of Albukamal.

The Iranian presence in the border city of Albukamal is incredibly close to the U.S. Armed Forces, who are currently deployed in eastern Deir Ezzor.

While the U.S. and Iran often avoid each other in eastern Syria, the American forces have attacked the Iranian-backed paramilitaries near the Tanf Zone in southeastern Syria.

These attacks were often carried out by the U.S. Air Force after the Iranian-backed paramilitaries and their allies from the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) approached the rebel groups near Tanf.

US looks very silly and immature after the latest Trump shenanigans. Iran has gained a lot of respect for defending its territory with honor and telling the truth from get go. Americans are not well liked anyway, but now look like a global laughing stock and worse than Baghdad Bob in telling fibs.

+++ “Iran has gained a lot of respect” >>> Only from brainless people : 80% of Iranians want to hang the ayatoilets to the closest lamppost… The regime likes to publicly hang people to cranes, remember : Louis XVI introduced the Guillotine, he ended as a user, and his wife too. I wouldn’t be surprised would Khamenei end seeing his son being hanged before the noose being fit around his own neck. +++ “for defending its territory with honor” >>> Territory is not under invasion, and won’t be invaded. Only the regime will be exterminated. +++ “and telling the truth… Read more »

Iran will have to quickly move and reconceal their defenses in Syria if they’ve been exposed.

Iran must be taught a lesson as they disturb the international shipping lane by attacking other countries’ oil tankers recently. From lomg ago Iran behaving like a rouge and threatning the world order and peace. This must come to an end by any means.

As much I was opposed to the ousting of Saddam and Gaddafi, since I predicted the disastrous results, as much I considered that Assad must NOT go, as much, if done cleverly, the liquidation of the Iranian regime and if e.g. Russia, India and PUK deploy in order to avoid a vacuum of power in order to let Reza Pahlavi restarting the country quietly, I see only positive results to come from the removal of this malign tumour.

I can feel your anger following that successful test that the Iranian leadership passed with brio, brother 🙂 Will you just look at the french-Israeli zio stooge now openly touting his support to the depressive, alcoholic, scandal-ridden, rich son of a deposed western puppet as if he still had an ounce of credibility or future anywhere outside of his Iranian-taxpayer funded palace where he settled after 79. You made the biggest joke ever of yourself here by shouting that latest nonsense, in an written event that shows that there are truly no boundaries to the moral bankruptcy of such miserable… Read more »

American soldiers are not regional forces in Persian gulf. They have aggressive position in tens of thousands killometers far from their home. So it isn’t clever opinion that you replied. I think any invader must get a punishment before it leaves the area. Huh.
