Aleppo, Syria (3:30 A.M.) – Day 6 of the jihadist offensive in the southern districts of Aleppo City turned out to be a tug-of-war match between Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest) and the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), as they both exchanged a number of small offensives inside the provincial capital.

The day began with Jaysh Al-Fateh launching an offensive that managed to yield them a small advance at Al-‘Amariyah; however, their main attack at Al-Ramouseh was repelled by the Syrian Armed Forces after a 90 minute battle.

Following the first jihadist offensive on Thursday, the Syrian Arab Army launched their own series of attacks on the 1070 Al-Hamdaniyah Housing Complex, but they were unable to infiltrate Jaysh Al-Fateh’s main line of defense.

Video footage from Thursday’s battle showed the sheer intensity of the firefights taking place between Jaysh Al-Fateh and the Syrian Armed Forces:

Small skirmishes are still ongoing, despite the coming 4th phase of the Jaysh Al-Fateh offensive.

I thought saa had retaken 1070 housing complex a few days ago but you are implying rebels still hold it. Thats dissapointing to hear, it means the rebels still have a good chance of defeating saa. Saa soldiers die bravely but led by poor quality officers

i read that the rebels unfortunately hold about 5-10% of it……a few buildings in the western corner, as can be seen towards the end of the video..

If some high ranking SAA or russian officer reads you, he’s likely to ROFL… Hopefully for SAA, Jaysh Al-Fateh has officers of your quality.
