BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:30 P.M.) – At least two Pakistani soldiers were killed this morning when the Indian Army unleashed a barrage of artillery shells towards the Line of Control (LoC) in the disputed Kashmir region.
According to the Pakistani Ministry of Defense, two of their soldiers were killed after the Indian military fired artillery shells towards the Naykal Sector.
This latest attack by the Indian Army comes just hours after the Pakistani military released a captured IAF pilot that was shot down over the Kashmir region on Wednesday.
Following the Indian Army’s attack on the Naykal Sector, the Pakistani military unleashed a barrage of their own.
According to a source from the Pakistani armed forces, their attack resulted in the death of eight Indian soldiers and the hospitalization of 32 paramilitary troops.
With the rise of violence in the disputed Kashmir region, both the Indian and Pakistani armed forces have been placed on high alert in case a new conflict were to breakout.
