BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:00 P.M.) – On Friday, Indian and Pakistani forces exchanged heavy gunfire and targeted each other’s positions along the Line of Control that divides Kashmir.
The two sides exchanged fire at the Nowshera sector of the Line of Control in the border area of Kupwara, about 222 km southwest of the city of Srinagar, the summer capital of Kashmir.
So far, there have been no reports of casualties from the clashes on the Indian or Pakistani sides.
