In an interview with the KRT Turkish TV network, criticizing policies of Erdogan and his ruling party due to their friendship with Israel, IHH General Secretary Yavuz Dede said:This is against the teachings of Quran and the Muslim anger.

According to the “7Sabah” news agency,in an interview with KRT Turkish TV networkIHH Secretary General Yavuz Dede said: We do not agree on all topics with the development and justice party government. For those who speak about having relations with Israel, defending the people of Palestine and Gaza is no more than a lie”.

He also added:In the Marmara ship event it was the IHH who incurred costs, but the justice and development party gained interests and finally shook hand of friendship with Netanyahu. Our institute is cooperating with Ankara only in Syrian affairs in which we have incurred costs and our credibility is hurt.

Criticizing Ankara-Tel Aviv relations Dead Yavuz also added: This is against the teachings of Quran and the Islamic anger that Turkey reaches out a hand of brotherhood to Israel and Erdogan stresses that Turkey needs Israel. We have no choice but to rethink our relations with the government.

He also said:Normalization of relations with Israel and even making strategic relationships with them against the Muslims are not surprising with people like “Sinerlioglu” in the government and foreign ministry key positions. Sinerlioglu has very deep ties with Israel, speaks Hebrew better than Turkish and has thrown Turkey in the hands of Israel.

This is a Civilized Place for Public Discussion

Please treat this discussion with the same respect you would a public park. We, too, are a shared community resource — a place to share skills, knowledge and interests through ongoing conversation.

These are not hard and fast rules, merely guidelines to aid the human judgment of our community and keep this a clean and well-lighted place for civilized public discourse.

Improve the Discussion

Help us make this a great place for discussion by always working to improve the discussion in some way, however small. If you are not sure your post adds to the conversation, think over what you want to say and try again later.

The topics discussed here matter to us, and we want you to act as if they matter to you, too. Be respectful of the topics and the people discussing them, even if you disagree with some of what is being said.

Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree

You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:

  • Name-calling
  • Ad hominem attacks
  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.

Turkey is unreliable. And if Israel and Turkey have better relations, that will hurt Israel’s trelations with Russia, Greece, Cypress, and Armrenia. It just isn’t worth it.
