Syrian authorities captured considerable quantities of ammo stuffed inside a living cow while transported in a mini truck in southern Damascus.

The state TV channel displayed a video saying that security members suspected a 25-cm long cut on the side of the cow which was haphazardly stitched. Having slaughtered the cow, dozens of small boxes of medium and light-caliber machineguns were found inside.

The driver, who was immediately arrested, confessed the ammo was sent by Daraa militants to sleeper cells in Damascus in order to carry out terror attack against multiple targets.
