A massive convoy of vehicles from the United Nations (U.N.) and the Syrian Red Crescent have arrived to the town of Madaya this morning, bringing with them several tons of humanitarian aid for the 20,000+ civilians trapped between the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the Islamist rebels.

Last week, several photos and videos were posted from the town of Madaya that displayed the need for immediate humanitarian aid, as images of malnourished children and elderly residents horrified social media users around the world.

The Syrian Opposition and the Syrian Government have both accused one another for the humanitarian crisis in Madaya; however, it appears that they’re both at fault, as the 6 month long ceasefire they agreed to has not been properly coordinated and implemented.

Isn’t the aid simply going to be nicked by the armed jihadi gangs that are roaming the town as what they’ve been doing in the past.
