BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:15 P.M.) – The jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham launched a massive counter-offensive in northern Syria, today, targeting several areas under the control of Jabhat Tahrir Souriya.

Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham began their offensive by striking Jabhat Tahrir Souriya’s positions inside the northern countryside of the Idlib Governorate.

According to pro-HTS media, their forces captured the towns of Kafr Losen, Aqrabat, Deir  Hassan, and Qah after a short battle with Jabhat Tahrir Souriya.

In addition to capturing these towns, HTS also took five rebels from Jabhat Tahrir Souriya prisoner after their assault on Qah.

HTS is now attacking the border-town of Atmeh, which is considered one of the most important points along the Turkish border.
