BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:30 P.M.) – The jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham carried out a successful ambush against their former allies from Harakat Nouriddeen Al-Zinki in the western countryside of Aleppo this week.

Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham setup the ambush by placing the flag of the Syrian Arab Republic and a landmine near the Aleppo-Damacus Highway.

The Harakat Nouriddeen Al-Zinki fighters were attempting to remove the flag, when one of the landmines placed by Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham went off.

Following this explosion, the field commander of Harakat Nouriddeen Al-Zinki, Abu Halik, and his associate went to retrieve the bodies of their comrades.

However, once they reached the area, Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham militants opened fire on the two Harakat Nouriddeen Al-Zinki members, killing both of them instantly.

where soon after, a Zanki field commander called Abu Halik along with other fighter came to the area to remove the Syrian flag when the land mine detonated killing both the commander and the fighter with him

The whole incident was captured on film by a local Russian military camera:
