The Saudi-led coalition has suffered a massive defeat in Darihmi district south of Al-Hudayda as airstrikes intensify in the port city.
Houthi rebels managed, yesterday, to destroy and damage up to 28 military vehicles while repelling the assault southeast of Al-Hudayda airport.
Scores of mercenaries of different nationalities, including field commanders, have been killed in the battles which also resulted in Houthis seizing at least 10 armored vehicles.
The attack launched by the Saudi coalition was heavily supported by aerial bombardment. At least 70 airstrikes were carried out targeting Houthi positions and supply routes in the area.
