DAMASCUS, SYRIA (10:30 P.M.) – As heavy clashes persist across three southern provinces of Saudi Arabia, Yemen’s military announced on Tuesday that Houthi-led gunmen have killed 119 Saudi troops through sniper fire alone since the beginning of the year. Dozens more were killed by artillery shelling, raids and tit-for-tat skirmishes.

According to the newly released statement, deadly Houthi sniper fire targeted 39 military bases, outposts and checkpoints in the Najran, Jizan and Asir governorates.

Earlier today, the Houthi-led Popular Committees alongside the Republican Guard also destroyed a Saudi armored vehicle with an anti-tank missile at the Sadui Al-Sudais base, leaving the crew to be burnt alive in the Najran region. In addition, Yemen’s Missile Forces bombarded Saudi troops at Camp Rajla on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Houthi forces are engaged in clashes with ISIS militants in central Yemen, encountering regular jihadist raids in the Bayda governorate.
