BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:15 P.M.) – The Houthi forces struck back against the Saudi Coalition troops in western Yemen this morning, killing a large number of fighters near the strategic city of Ta’iz.

According to Al-Masirah News Agency, the Houthi forces and Saleh loyalist struck the Saudi Coalition troops and their allies from the Southern Resistance east of Ta’iz City, causing heavy damage to the latter’s defenses on Tuesday.

Previously, the Saudi Coalition and their allies were on the offensive near Ta’iz; however, this assault was eventually repelled after Houthi reinforcements arrived to drive back the enemy combatants.

In addition to their attack in Ta’iz, the Houthi forces are attempting to reclaim territory near the Mocha Port, which was captured by Southern Resistance militants earlier this year.
