BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:15 P.M.) – The Houthi forces shot down a Saudi warplane in northern Yemen, Monday, after it was seen flying over their positions in the eastern countryside of the Sana’a Governorate.

According to the official media wing of the Houthi forces, their air defense units shot down the Saudi F-15 with an anti-aircraft missile.

However, video footage of the attack was released on Tuesday, showing that the missile did not in fact hit the warplane (please see below:

Despite missing, the Houthi anti-aircraft missile came very close to hitting the Saudi warplane, which is an impressive feet, given that they are developing the SAM domestically.
