BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:00 P.M.) – The Houthi forces killed a high ranking commander of the Al-Qaeda terrorist group this weekend.

According to the official media wing of the Houthi forces, their fighters killed the Al-Qaeda commander, Ghaleb ‘Abdullah Al-Zaydi, after the former stormed the terrorist group’s base in the Mareb Governorate.

In particular, the Houthi attack took place inside the Rabia Valley of the Sirwah District, which is partially controlled by the Al-Qaeda terrorist organization.

The Houthi forces have been fighting the Saudi-backed troops and Al-Qaeda terrorists inside the Mareb Governorate for over two years now.

Despite labeling Al-Qaeda a terrorist group, the Saudi Coalition has often avoided the former in order to concentrate their efforts on the Houthi forces.

These are not hard and fast rules, merely guidelines to aid the human judgment of our community and keep this a clean and well-lighted place for civilized public discourse.

Improve the Discussion

Help us make this a great place for discussion by always working to improve the discussion in some way, however small. If you are not sure your post adds to the conversation, think over what you want to say and try again later.

  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.

There are ex-British troops in Saudi Arabia training al-Qaeda for over three decades. There are entire xpat villages setup for these terrorist trainers. Very easy to find who they are. They don’t even try to hide it. Google Julian Fieldhouse for example

Houthis surely remembered the time before Khamenei bought their leaders, when they used to team with US’ DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) at hunting Qaedans.
Yuuuup… Not so anti-Yankee they pretend… Actually, they’re more pro-money, just bid more and they’re likely to side with you, hehe!

LOOOOOL.This jew troll of Daesh bags sucks he is missing some brain in his skull. I don’t know if he is a true troll or a simple moron with very low QI. Whatever, he never see that he was wrong since the beginning of the middle east conflict, and every time he was wrong he creates some Santa Claus story to deny the reality LOL. This Daeshbags Sucks said that he supports the funding and arming of AQAP to fight Iranian proxies and Iran, because both of them are “extremists”, “shitislamist” (see his last comment => https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/saudi-led-coalition-collaborated-with-al-qaeda-to-fight-houthis-in-yemen/). The AQAP who… Read more »
