BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:00 P.M.) – The Houthi forces laid a new ambush against a large number of Saudi Coalition and Yemeni National Army soldiers on Monday.

Using roadside bombs, the Houthi forces were able to inflict heavy casualties within the ranks of the Saudi Coalition and Yemeni National Army.

According to the Houthi forces’ official media wing, their troops carried out the ambush in the contested Sudays region of Saudi Arabia’s Najran province.

This attack by the Houthi forces comes just hours after the Saudi Coalition carried out several airstrikes over the northern provinces of Yemen.

With a fragile ceasefire in place inside the Hodeidah Governorate, the majority of the fighting in Yemen has shifted to the Saudi border region.

Northern Yemen has been under heavy attack by the Saudi Coalition and their allies as they continue their push to capture the entire Hajjah Governorate from the Houthi forces.
