BEIRUT, LEBANON (5:00 P.M.) – The Houthi forces carried out another deadly ambush this week that targeted the troops of the Saudi Coalition in the Hodeidah Governorate.

According to the official media wing of the Houthi forces, their troops killed and wounded several fighters from the Saudi Coalition after they detonated their improvised explosive devices (IED) inside of 5th Street in northeast Hodeidah.

The Houthi forces would also carry out a number of attacks at the provincial capital’s outskirts, as they use war of attrition tactics against the Saudi Coalition troops.

The Hodeidah Governorate has been contested for several weeks now, despite repeated calls by the United Nations to end the fighting and return to the negotiations table.

Both sides have accused one another of committing crimes in the Hodeidah Governorate, while civilians continue to suffer from the horrible conditions that have plagued the province as a result of this operation.
