BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:00 A.M.) – The Houthi forces claimed on Friday morning that their forces had killed more than 50 Gulf-backed fighters in the Hodeidah Governorate of west Yemen over the last 24 hours.
According to the Houthi report, their forces killed the 50+ Gulf-backed fighters during the latter’s attack that began on Thursday afternoon.
In addition to killing 50+ Gulf-backed fighters, the Houthi forces claimed they destroyed at least 18 technical and armored vehicles in the Hodeidah Governorate.
The Houthi report pointed out that the bodies of the dead and wounded were left behind by the Gulf-backed forces after their failed attack.
This claim by the Houthi forces comes just 24 hours after the Gulf-backed Southern Resistance Army and Yemeni Republican Guard attempted to advance in the Hodeidah Governorate.
