SANAA, YEMEN (8:25 P.M.) – The Houthi forces carried out a massive ambush against the Saudi Army near the Al-Boqa border-crossing on Saturday, killing and wounding more than 40 soldiers in the process.

According to the Yemeni Republican Guard’s official media page, the Houthi attack destroyed at least 9 vehicles were destroyed, including 3 tanks and 6 armored trucks that had mounted machine guns.

Video footage of this ambush was captured by Hezbollah’s media wing; it showed the moment the Houthi forces attacked the Saudi Army.

Today’s ambush was one of the deadliest attacks carried out by the Houthi forces against the Saudi Army since the latter first intervened in the Yemeni conflict.

What a bunch of tactical idiots! When you know that KSA’s army is supposed to be made of professionals, this is laughable!

That looked like a stream of refugees, if anything, perhaps being escorted by some armed units. The Saudi coalition in the area would never travel en mass BY FOOT.

They’ve just went out of their trucks after the 1st explosion.
Nevertheless, they all acted STUPID as it’s very likely that other parts of the road may have IED. In such case, you divert to minimise the risk of casualties… What they did after the 1st IED was totally amateurish… And lethal for them.
