Jizan, Saudi Arabia (12:10 P.M.) – The Houthi forces, backed by the Yemeni Republican Guard, continued their wide-scale advance inside Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, capturing more territory from the Arab Coalition in the Jizan Region.
According to Yemen-based Al-Masirah News Agency, the Houthi forces and their allies repelled an Arab Coalition attack on the recently captured village of Al-Qarn; this prompted the anti-government forces to launch a counter-attack in the Al-Khabuah area.
Not long after the Arab Coalition’s failed assault, the Houthi forces and their allies imposed full control over Al-Dafiniyah after a short battle on Wednesday.
Over the last 24 hours, the Houthi forces have managed to seize three villages in the Al-Khabuah area, while also killing a large number of Saudi soldiers.
The Yemeni Republican Guard’s official Twitter account reported that 4 Saudi Army vehicles were also destroyed during this counter-attack by the Houthi forces.
